I have been working on some random generators using the omnihedron.

I have put out the contact generator, but I do not think that a person is fully
flushed out .... what else do I need to add to the contact? I have the xml
files
in a zip at http://www.btvos.com/delta

Any feedback would be great. (someone mentioned that I should change this
to an online resource instead of using the omnihedron.)

An on-line resource might be a better idea since most
computers would be more likely to have access to that
format than omnihedron.

I can download the files, but I can't open them on my
system.

http://www.divnull.com/omnihedron/ should let you use the files, as long
as you're on a Windows PC, anyway.

Any XML file can be opened in any text editor; you may or may not find
any useful information in it, but you _can_ open it :)

The files should be extracted to the lists folder of the omnihedron.
I have made a few updates. The omnihedron is a pc utility, which
has some great functionality as a dice roller, and has other random
lists. (I think Gurth wrote one) There are also random atmosphere
generators. If someone has other suggestions of random objects to
be scripted I would work on them as well. I am just about to start
a random adventure generator. (it just gives people a frame work) to
till in. Ie, corp x wants item (a) it would generate the statistics of the
building and corp security... I am also working on a threat file.

I think that I will also make an online resource, that lets you toggle an
option, incase most of it fits, but you wanted something changed.

Seems good to me. I'd change the attribute section to give numeric
values, though. The idea of the original "Random Human" list is that
it is system agnostic. Since yours is already specifically for
Shadowrun, you might as well give it numbers.

Will do, I will look up the different race mods and fix that up tomorrow,
and have it
live as well.

Are there other lists/random generators that I could work on? I am working
on a
random run generator that will hopefully spit out some funky ideas, as well
as improve
on the shadowrun atmosphere generator.

btw ... Gurth worked on a background generator that would work well with this.

An OS X version would be very much appreciated :)

I only made a random background generator itself, not the Omnihedron
implementation of it.

In progress. My wife has a whole month off though, so I'm... distracted.
