WOW! K, are you stressed? In just a few short minutes you've destroyed the poor
guy TWICE! But anyway, I think I've got to agree with you on this one. A
Talismongering level 15 skillsoft is kinda outta wack. If any of my players tried
to slip a level 15 skillsoft past me, I really don't know what I'd do to them.
I'd probably beat them. But then again, one of my players from my first group
tried to slip something like 10 million nuyen past me at one point (or was it 5?
Either way, it was obscene). And all I did was look at him. Serves me right for
not looking carefully at the character sheet...

In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder,
bloodshed - they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance.
In Switzerland they had brotherly
love, five hundred years of democracy and peace, and what did they produce? The
cuckoo clock!

I know what happened when one of the players here tried that on me. It was
great. I asked him where and how he got it, he explained (pointed out the
same table in the book that was used here) and I read the paragraph, bit my
tongue, and said nothing and said "Okay, you got me there."

I later had the chip functioning along the lines of a "Buy Our Products" sort
of thing. But only when his character was sleeping. He kept wondering where
all the cash was going until one of his other friends caught him doing it on
Mbay.... ;-)

Yeah, that is the one thing I have developed a very severe distaste for.
Player alterations without GM approval is annoying. Just imagine what it is
like with up to 4 GM's though and one says "sure", and the others know
nothing of what is happening....

That's what happened. This character had been paid by a dragon something like 15
thousand small gems for a job. Those 15.000 small gems, after converted to nuyen,
came to the 10 million nuyen. Damn Dave! Damn you to heck! ;^)

Actually, as I recall, it was a lump of solid gold wasn't it?
