As i have seen before, anchored spells could fit for what you want to do,
which is do more damage to a target using a ranged magical weapon. But you can
and should be able to use a weapons focus on a ranged weapon. Most of the dis
scussion so far has been on using the bullet/arrow as the focus, but the troubl
e comes when it leaves the user's aura. I think that the best way to have a ran
ged weapon focus is to use the gun/bow for the focus. the gun/bow doesn't leave
the aura and therefore works.

The reasoning behind this is mostly based on game mechanics. The rules for
a weapon focus state (i believe) that it's rating is added to the appropriate
skill ( usually Armed combat). The skill is just that, How skilled you are at d
oing something. therefore making a weapon focus into a bow would only increase
the skill of someone with Projectile Weapons skill. With increased skill usuall
y comes increased damage. The same applies to guns at that point, but not to th
rown weapons (like knives, shiruken, grenades, cars, etc ;) ) because of the afor
mentioned effect of leving the aura of the user.

As for the reply for the shaman post heres one that is silly, but potenti
ally dangerous:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LEMMING SHAMANS

To put it mildly, there slightly suicidal

ADVANTAGES : The shaman gets a number of dice to all action
equal to the addition to T# based on wounds
(i.e. a lemming shaman who is seriously wounded
and seriously stunned would have a +6 to all T#'s)
the shaman does not get the negative effects of damage.

DISADVANTAGES: if the shaman is in a situation where he could take damage
he will. If he is restrained from taking damage, he will ha
ve to make a willpower (6) check to keep from going beserk.
Needless to say that he'll be beserk for 1d6 rounds minus
the successes on the willpower test.
The shaman will never wear armor.Never. And they have an
affinity for throwing themselves off skyscapers (but thats
unusuall even for them. they prefer to go jump in a lake)

Favored environment: anywhere close to a large body of water.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well that's as much as i feel like writing at the moment.
