What's been going on around Jan/Feb timeframe?

(I don't plan on sending my team in, yet. But I want some abiance to add.
Just a little trid news report every now and then).

Well AFAIK they were quite fast at taking them back. In February or
March they had them. Problem is, that's all they did.
As Brainscan starts (seems to be around Sept. 2060), the military are
trying to get more ground, launching a bigger offensive.

IMO there aren't going to be a lot of news reports. Media coverage
will be exceptional through December, impressive in January and almost
inexistent once the offensive stalls.

For the record, it's not _my_ add-on -- I just downloaded it. As far as I
can remember, it was written by the same people who wrote the main parts
of the RA:S book.

Actually, Brainscan starts around March 2061. Check the timeline in
_Matrix_, and you'll see the Seattle city-wide power shutdown takes
place then. The entirety of Brainscan is a little less than two months
in scope, canonically.

Also note that in the adventure itself, the writers were apparently unaware
of the time at which the adventure takes place. The first one mentions
it's summer, IIRC, which does not fit the facts given in other books...

Besides, they recommend that you run some homemade scenarios between
the adventures. In my group, I started Brainscan in September 2060. The
current date is around February 2061 and we're approaching the end of
"Outside Influence".
