Does anybody have/could anyone give me example ratings of voice
recognition/ID testing systems in the world of SR?

Ie:
What sort of system would a credstick ID be going up against to convince
lone-star that I have a permit for my gear?

What is considered the common-or-garden (warehouse/similar) rating of a
voice recognition system?

What I'm looking for is a list, like in the matrix section, where it
gives example ratings of on-line security systems.

According to Fyre - AKA Colin, at 23:58 on 23 Jul 00, the word on the
street was...

I use the rule of thumb that 3 to 4 is average. A typical front door lock
for a house would be rating 3, for example, and normal stores (grocery
stores, supermarkets, etc.) might have rating 4 credstick verification
systems.

Lone Star would have much higher-rated equipment, because they need to
make positive identifications. Rating 6 would be the minimum, IMHO.

See above: I would set this at 3 or 4. That is, unless the owner of the
place sees a need for a better system -- a well-secured warehouse might
have rating 5 or 6, while a high-security warehouse would have rating 8 or
even higher. However, I've found that using 3 or 4 as average, just like
for attributes, works pretty well. Just vary it from there based on your
view of the relative security level.
