You are correct, he was indeed "the Headless Horseman" in the most recent
version of Sleepy Hollow to be released. If anyone has the DVD for that,
you'll find a BUNCH of neat things that was done in order to pull of the
Horseman.

Wait a minute. I thought the Horseman was played by Christopher Walken. Or
did they do that digitizing thing again?

No you are partially right. The horeseman was played by Christopher
Walken,...but the _headless_ horseman, in the scenes where he is actually
headless, were played by Ray Park,...does that about sum it up guys?

Ahhh...the ol' David Prowse, James Earl Jones, Sebastian Shaw all = Darth
Vader thing, huh? Damn...there's a lot of Star Wars in that movie!
(including Christopher Lee now that he's been officially cast in Episode
II...though they won't say who he's supposed to be portraying. Ever
secretive.)

When you watch the movie again (and you know you will) watch the body
language of the "headless" horseman. Park actually throws in some
tell-tale "Chris Walken" moves, specifically in the shoulders. The
more I see of this guy the more impressed I am. Now if they would
only give him some lines...

More like if he could act said lines. : ) He stunk in MK:2 and Episode 1
(as an actor NOT Martial Artist/Acrobat) IMHO.

BTW Rand, yes I did love SW:1 but he could have tried acting a little better
with what few lines he had.

I know he was dubbed in PHANTOM MENACE, but not because he was a bad actor
(what little screen time he had in X-MEN, for instance, was quite
enjoyable)...he was dubbed because it's virtually impossible for him to
sound menacing.

I don't know about MK:2, seeing as how I avoided that movie as if my very
soul depended upon missing it. Still trying to figure out how a movie as
bad as the first one could spawn a sequel....

Well, MK:2 stunk as a whole. :)

Btw, who was he in it?

Ummm...why you talking to me? Oh, is this about the
"Star Wars fan" thing? Well, I'm not a MINDLESS Star
Wars fan. To be honest, I was disappointed by Episode
1 - it was, at best, average.

As for Park/Maul - I thought I heard somewhere that
the few lines Maul had WEREN'T spoke by Park.

And I think the reason for that could have something
to do with why he doesn't get speaking parts. IIRC
from watching the making of SW: Episode 1, he had this
funny, reedy little voice (with an English accent, no
less). Of course, I could be confusing him with
someone else, but if I'm not, I understand why you
wouldn't want him speaking in flicks (especially when
playing the big, bad guy).

Ray Park didn't act in MK:2. He was simply the body double for the actor
who played Raiden. James Remar did the actual bad acting.

Jet Li is my god. Lee Ling Kit, his real name, has the best control of his
body and I don't care whatever you guys say; he beats Jackie Chan and Bruce
Lee in the Kung Fu department. I've been practicing Kung Fu for 12 years
just because of this guy.

He absolutely rocked in "The Warriors", though (James Remar).

The lines he had in X-men, he looked and sounded a lot like Chico Marx to
me.

Now that's a blast from the past. If it's the same "Warriors" I'm thinking
of. Low budget 70's "Ganger" flick. Not bad really, considering
everything.

I must have been misinformed. I have seen MK:2 twice (once on purpose) and
I could have sworn I saw his name for Sub Zero (unmasked) but I probably am
wrong.

Hey, it's hard to act well when you're dealing with a
bad script. It wasn't JUST Remar's (and the other
actors') faults. :)

"The Warriors"?

I thought Bruce Lee was Jeet Kwan Do? (not sure of the words but I know the
translation was Way of the Flying Fist or something along those lines...)
Which that was supposed to be the new and improved faster version of Kung
Fu... Course, ::laughs:: unfortunately Bruce Lee isn't around to defend
himself on this one so I suppose we'll never truly know.

You're partially right. Kung Fu means "mastery", or rather
"mastership". So
technically you could _be_ kung fu in Tennis. However, it is the nickname
given to Wu Shu, the collective name given to all chinese martial arts.
Bruce started out with Wing Chun (a southern Wu Shu style) and later
developed Jeet Kune Do (way of the intercepting fist), which is recognized
by chinese as a chinese martial art, therefor it is Wu Shu, therefor it is
also Kung Fu.

This all reminds me...I was looking through Cannon Companion and was
thinking of making a character and I wanted to give him Jeet Kune Do, but I
didn't see it in the book. Was Kung Fu in there? I don't remember because I
wasn't specifically looking for it... If so/not, how hard would it be to
design Jeet for the SR system? (What can I say I love Bruce Lee and I think
it would be kewl as shit to have a phys ad with his fighting style...)

Yes; kung fu is the catch-all (from a *game mechanics* point of view) that
encompasses hwarang-do, wu shu, and presumably jeet kune do.
