I found this on the Usenet frp.cyber.
Considering its source(Newsgroup), I'm wondering if this is true?
Is it?

The Rigger Black Bock 2nd edition is already out (I even have the german
version of it, including the vehicle of the germany sourcebook). I think
it's worth it.

But if you are looking especially for the RBB 1st edition (english):
I've copy of it I don't need anymore. So if you want, just sent we
private mail.

You're kidding, right? The book isn't scheduled to be released until
GenCon 1997, by Fasa, probably in the same fashion as POAD:DS (As people
have been waiting for this since SR 2nd edition came out.). From what
Mike (Mulhivill) has said of the book, it is going to be
very rules- and drones-intensive, and not be like the sales brochure for
a car dealership like the original RBB was.

You are referring to some special RBB that fanpro (the german
distributor of FASA) built on their own. It basically contains the
rules of the "old" english RBB and some more vehicles than it. But it
is __NOT__ (repeat NOT) the new edition we are all waiting for.
Unfortunately Fanpro refers to it as RBB 2.0 - causing alot of
confusion..:-(

Nonsense.
FanPro just once again tried to up their sales by bringing out a compilation
of old stuff, including the (sorry) munchkin vehicles from "Deutschland in den
Schatten" (Germany Sourcebook), adding the sourcebook updates from SRII,
p.283, and (I haven't read through it yet) probably including some "rule
clarifications" that are once again not compatible with FASA (as is their Q&A
page on the web). This IS NOT THE 2ND EDITION RBB!

From the time of the print, I assume they just wanted to have their German RBB
out before the English v2 was published (so they could sell an "improved"
version
later, making double profit)
