I'd say the best guess is based on the fact that "extended spectrum
sound" is given as 3 Mp/minute in Shadowbeat; if you assume that
extended spectrum means uncompressed at a good sample rate, you have
about 3 Mp ≈ 9 MB, or 1 Mp = 3 MB.

But having said that, there are several other values you could use to
establish similar relative values -- if you use video, it's going to
result in a very different number, I think.

Which is, indeed, what I took as the basis for my "calculation" :)

Which is why, if you want some kind of figure, have to take one
assumption and use that for your calculations. Since SR does not have
realistic tech, I took the assumption that extended-spectrum sound is
CD-quality, and normal sound is MP3-equivalent, leading to the 1 Mp = 3
MB conversion rate.
