We can keep trying to bring the Matrix in line with Real Life, but there
comes a point where you either have to completely rewrite the rules
(moreso than Nightstalker did) or face it: It's a cinematic reflection
of a fanatsy computer network.

By biggest beef is hooking up sec systems and controllers to the big
system. I'd rather have a low-level (server as opposed to microframe)
computer running security and not be hooked up to the regular Matrix,
and leave only those things that HAVE to be on the Matrix plugged in.
My security systems are always set up like that.

Here's a question: The Matrix is the source of the code for simsense
signals correct? I mean, the deck doesn't see Blaster 5 and make the
picture; the Blaster 5 has the code for graphics within it. So what
if you tried to deck a system that isn't wired for virtuality signals,
not even the UMS default? No pictures, just straight code. Sounds
like yet another obstacle. . .
