Not to mention you the when&where aspect of the job. First, a satellite
needs to pass over the right area at the right time. Then, you ned to
know where those logs are stored. Finally, you need to be able to hack the
system. I rather doubt any hacker would know the flight path of every satellite,
or even enough to cover most of the world or even Seattle adequatley for all
times of day. Abd considering the security on some of those logs, even
knowing where to look may do little good.
But this begets the question of decking into a satellite directly with
a satellite uplink. True, it's meant for communications only and would likely
be ineffective in the bowels of the Sprawl, but could one conceivably hack
a satellite's on-board computer, possibly redirecting it to look elsewhere
(or not look)? I think in Matrix terms it would have a CPU and slave node,
with a couple of SPUs for flight control and other basic functions. Any takers?

Try "Spirit" for PCness. And please don't be PC. Faust was probably an Initiate
with an unfortunate encounter with a Fire Elemental, who may have been a Free
Spirit.

They CAN be taught :)
