Perhaps you would appreciate the following that happened to our group.
THe group was playing as HUK member in the Philippines and decided they
would hijack a cargo vessel - (Container ship) on route to Japan and
sell it and its cargo in Vladivostock. When in Japanese waters near the
island of Yomi? (where the Japanese stick the metahumans) our group
safely ensconced in a container had the surprise of their lives when a
spirit /astral from flashes through the container. The mage takes off
after the astral form and the group left drop the side of the container
and proceed to attack the crew. Finally they managed to kill the crew
including a mage ( who was at the time in Astral) THen on the bridge
things started to go weird - the main Sam a TRoll with high stats keeps
saying its all illusion stop worrying. THen his legs gets bitten by
wires that transform into a snake - It illusion he yells and ignores the
GM saying you take damage. THen another member of the party is visited
by the astral image of the mage (party member a phys ad troll with
astral perception) the astral mage asks why they killed the crew - phys
ad replies only good japanese a dead Japanese - more trouble as water
spirits now start attacking and this weird spirit appears that delights
in the chaos etc. and proceed to force one o the party to shoot another
and the big troll continues to yell its all illusion. The Gm informs
the troll that there are spiders coming out of the wound on his leg - he
then starts batting at them with his spurs having failed his saving
throw and still yells there all illusions. In the meantime the spirit
gets stronger from the damage the Troll is causing himself and the party
slowly is decimated - the only ones left the phys ad our mage
(unconscious from attacking a ward and being disrupted) the sam Troll
and the astral mage saying to them as they try to escape in a lifeboat -
I have contacted the authorities) Scene ends with sounds of aircraft
from mainland and the Sam Troll still calling out Its Illusion Non of
this is real - Welcome to Yomi???
