Hello all,

1st let me say it has been a nice change , I do not
poast very often as most other boards I have been
flamed to death for even a simple comment. Here even
those who disagreed with me have given good replys
stating they point of view , thanks guys I think I
will stay.

Some have asked my to post the rules when they have
been tested , sure just give a week or to , too try
them.
Heat build up. Yes this can and is a problem with just
about all full auto-guns mag or belt , it is simply
that you can change a mag quick but heat disapates
slooow. In fact I have not bothered to put this in the
rules as I limete the amount of ammo a PC can carry
and keep track of the ammo they fire very stricly so
me group tend to be conservertive. May be I should
think about incuding it for completness if nothing
else , thanks for the input.

the British Army LSW
* but is actually (according to a Bisley high-
scorer) more accurate fired in rapid aimed singles
than in bursts, reducing the heat load on the barrel.*

This is right on both counts , I carried a LSW for
most of my army time. The LSW is a lot more accurate
that the standard SA80 as it has a longer barrle and a
Bi-pod. The full-auto mode is manly used for
support/suppesing fire. I loved it on single shot we
used to call it the poormans sniper rifle ! (but
nowere near as good as a real sniper rifle). If fact
the whole SA80 family is a poor thing. It is not the
gun as such but the round it fires , the standared
NATO round . This is a rounds design by an accountant
and aproved by a polatision , neather of witch know
anything about combat. The old SLR is a far better
weapon , a true rifle.

Regards

Black Cat
