I think we would all like to see what came out of the discussion of a
couple months ago. Was re-reading it myself recently...good stuff!

I know that Erik was the only one of us who intended to write a Cairo
Net supplement, but thanks to a new job he left the list, and I
figure that it also curbed his ambitions in that direction somewhat.
You could check out his website at :

To see if he managed to finish it. His would be a close to real
life version of the future.

If you're looking for a "magical pharaoic" Egypt netbook I can't help
you much. I know that I wrote a whole bunch of messages about the
subject, but never intended to, or intend to write anything more
lasting in the nearby future (nor do I see myself having time for
it. I would love to give it a try though, but it will just end up
in the half finished stuff directories).

BTW, if someone wants to and thinks my stuff was good enough to use
it in a netbook about Egypt, be my guest and send me a copy when
you're finished :).
