forge who resided in a volcano and was renowned for being

was the original fire bringer to man , another possibility
is helios the sun chariot rider , ares was just too obvious
i choose neptune lord of the seas ( and water ) for illusion
, also renowned for mists at sea and misleading sailors ,
hermes is also the messenger which leads me to the informing
the pantheon and there to detection ( he sees more serves as
the eyes and ears )
the biggest manipulation in ancient times was the seasons
supposedly tied to ceres and the loss of her daughter
persephone to hades for winter , also ties to earth , on the
other hand if we are talking machiavellian manipulation then
it has to go to hera , zeus had nothing on the woman ,
sort of a cross between old mother hubbard and the wicked
witch of the west ) she bullied zeus into half of his
decisions ( don't that sound familiar )
on healing what about bacchus , most guys will testify to
alcohol rights all wrongs ( until morning )
