Subject: Rehashing Troll Heights/Weights

Having just read the short story in the front of SR3, and drawing upon
my recollections of Shadowrun novels, it is my perception that trolls
stand slightly above seven feet in height. Why not change a troll's
average height to 2.4m (7'10") and leave the weight alone at 225 kg
(495 lbs)? This would also reconcile the drawings depicting trolls
standing two heads above humans.

This would also let GMs describe giants (troll sub-variant) as being
HUGE at 2.8m, weighing over 350kg.

By the way, the following link seems useful for guessing at the
weights of other metahumans. Just adjust for buffed-out PCS.

We're certainly going to be contemplating that when our campaign
converts over to SR3. Trolls are supposed to be 9'3", but I think
I've seen maybe two drawings in all of the Shadowrun material that
supports it, and even in the novels they're only a little over seven
feet tall. Being nearly eight feet tall on average would be trouble
enough for Trolls; it certainly wouldn't be giving them much of
a break.

Though that one suggests that a buffed-out 7'10" human at 5% body fat wolud
only be 152kg...
