Well, you DONT want a horn to be bone. Bones are filled with Marrow, a living
tissue that helps build things like blood cells. you dont want to mess with
those too much (one reason I will never use bone lacing in a charecter) If a
horn is karatin (Stuff like nails) or compressed hair (like a rino) I wouldnt
charge essense but only if it was something like a hidden compartment.
something that would need to interface with other stuff, you would still pay
essense.
