Actually, in my group we use a song by Rob Zombie's last group... White
Zombie's "More Human than Human" always plays loud during our sessions.

I prefer the idea of using small indie groups or "timeless" mood music.
(BladeRunner soundtrack is a good example of the second). That way the
movie couldn't really be "Timed" as a flash in the pan, pop-culture movie
because it used the popular artists of the time.

The way I remember from glacing at Shadowbeat (can someone who actually owns
the book back me up/correct me on this), there were two types of music.
Syth-pop (Use of syths, drum machines, and no real "talent" except for maybe
a voice).
and
Rock (Everything else including Country, Rap, Metal, Punk, Blues and Ska.
All were considered rock. Basicly if you needed an instrament and
talent/skill, it was rock.).

According to this, we could theoreticly have any/all types of music on the
sound track including (shudder) Brittany Spears, and N'Sync (shudders turns
into a full case of the heebie-jeebies).
I can't believe I just sugested THEM to be on the Shadowrun soundtrack.
