Actually, I think the reason for that is that some of the free internet and
email services, such as hotmail, excitemail, yahoo, juno, among others,
automatically append those things to your emial, with no way to turn it
off, short of hacking into the yahoo server, which is somewhat illegal. :)

As opposed to AllAdvantage, which is one of those services that you get
money for referring others to, also for surfing the internet, albeit, you
get most of the money from referrals, which is basically a pyramind scheme,
albeit legal. Those, you choose to put your AllAdvantage number into your
.sig, as a means of getting more referrals. This is voluntary, and
somewhat annoying to those of us who get it.

Of course, to me, the yahoo/juno/excite, etc.. stuff is annoying, but I
recognize that not everyone has such good access to a computer and modem
that I have, and has to use on of those free email services.

What it comes down to, is if you can avoid it, please don't put ads on your
email

And I just realized that I didn't erase all those ads and stuff on my
original message. Sorry about that!

Yeah, it is optional, and I will remove it from now on. Sorry. I really think
sigs should only be name and maybe a short quote (not paragraphs). I couldn't
think of one, so threw up the AA thing cause I'm desperate for money :) Sorry.

Just a quick note, I am not sure how many others do it (though I know
there's a few) I use "other" email services because they're easier and I
can set up accounts JUST for the list.

So, a question from a chat;

"How many shadowrunners have Matrix-webpages?"

does the Sam have a cute little "Why I luv gunz" page?

come on, you can tell me :-)

I'm getting ready to add a SR section to my site, just as soon as I can
think of something decent to put on it without ripping people off :)
