Hey, a quick question here.
When a player uses karma to reroll failures when using pool dice in
the same roll, does s/he reroll the pool dice too?

It becomes a problem when my players' characters are dodging
bullets...

I would say yes. In fact, I have never been in a game where the GM
didn't rule that you could do this. After all, spending karma is like
cashing in on some cosmic good luck. In which case, I don't see how
your combat pool and skill dice are considered seperate entities....you
get lucky across the board (no comments from the peanut gallery,
please). ;)

Yes,he/she will reroll ALL the dices.
And yes,i also think the characters dodge the bullets too easy.

Yep, agreed on the cosmic good luck. But they ARE considered separate
entities in the way that when you overcome the attacker's successes with
only your pool dice, you dodged the attack. So I see the combat pool
as dodging and body dice as the pain resistance or "body acceptance"
of the wounds...

You re-roll _all_ the dice, not just skill or attribute dice, but extra
dice given by pools, bio-/cyberware, and/or magic as well.

They're staging damage down too easily? Fire six rounds on full-auto
instead of two, 3-round bursts. Give the attackers laser sights or
smartguns. Let them use guns with a higher Damage Code than you do now.
Apply armor degradation rules, so they can't trust in that either. Make
the PCs immobile targets (some kind of Control Thoughts spell should take
care of that).

All of this will give the attackers lower TNs, and thus more successes,
or make it harder for players to resist the damage.
