Subject: | Rigger 2: Question |

I've tapped all my contacts for this info and came up dry. But I'm
bettin' the tasty bit of information that constitutes the answer for
my question has all ready been on the table here, so I'm tappin' my
ace in the hole and putting my question on the list.
The topic is ECCM, something I bet more than a few of you know more about
than I. The question regards the mechanics for using ECCM. The Rigger 2
book, on page 32, says:
"Riggers may use ECCM to counteract ECM jamming. ... The counterjammer
rolls a number of dice equal to his vehicle's ECCM Rating, against a
target number equal to the ECM Rating of his opponent's vehicle."
However, in the back of the Rigger 2 book, there is a template for
vehicles that has places to keep track of the ECCM current and maximum
Flux rating.
My question is:
Does the rigger roll dice equal to his ECCM Rating, vs. the vehicle's
ECM rating, or does he roll his ECCM's current Flux Rating, vs. the
ECM's flux rating? It would seem to me that the Flux Rating is what
should actually be used...
Thanks ta' those of you out there who can offer a perspective on this.
You can feed the data to this electronic link. Or, we can hook up for
a face to face. Just tell the bartender at Delirium that you'd like
the house special, and he'll point 'cha in the right direction.
Thanks.
