Ok, since I seem to be the first one on the list to get this book (I'm
happy to see that my favourite hobby store is open on Sundays now, I hope
they start opening on Mondays soon...), I'll give everyone a taste of
what's between the covers...but I'll leave appropriate spoiler space if
you want the R2 to be a total surprise.

There that should be enough. Well here we go...

The book is is 172 pages thick, with four more pages at the end that
photocopyable character sheets. It's called Rigger 2, the name at the
bottom is Jonathan Szeto. The front cover has a picture of a female
human, standing in a really run down area, facing out (look at you as you
look at the cover) and pointing. Surrounding her are dozens and dozens of
drones. Looking inside near the middle, is the same picture. The woman
is named Josie Cruise, and the caption reads "Forget diamonds, drones are
a girl's best friend.

Looks like they made it compatible with the Shadowrun Companion, as it
reviews what Edges and Flaws work for Riggers, and it has a bunch of new
Edges and Flaws. A new dice pool is added, usable only with a new
BattleTac system just for riggers (there are two new BattleTac systems).

Certain cyberware works differently when a Vehicle Control Rig is active
(woe to anyone who has a Move by Wire). Maintainence and Overhead rules
are presented, which are similar to SOTA, but reflect wear and tear, not
obsolescence of machines.

New sensor stuff, including Electronic Deception (which can increase a
vehicles signature rating), and new forms of electronic warfare.

There is a new vehicle combat system, and now riggers take damage if their
vehicles are badly damaged, ouch!

Loads of new drone stuff, including robots.

Rules on how a security rigger and CCSS system work.

A section on New Toys, now riggers get a Cranial Remote Deck! There are
new drones, and there is a section on Vehicle Design and Customization.

And stats for all the vehicles in the game are listed in the back...

Well, that's what I picked up from a fairly brief glance at Rigger 2...
