Okay, well, it's not R3R, but the errata on shadowrunrpg.com. Here's what it
says:

"p. 203 Chassis Table
Change the Signatures of the various trailers (under Other Accessories &
Features) to the following:

Rail Car, Freight 3
Rail Car, Long Passenger 3
Rail Car, Short Passenger 3
Trailer, Heavy Axle 4
Trailer, Light Axle 4
Trailer, 20-foot 3
Trailer, 40-foot 3
Trailer, 53-foot 3"


Okay, that's all well and good, except that none of those things have a
Signature because Signature is listed under power plants. So, do I just add
Signature to all of them, or what?

Signature (as I read it) isn't just about the thermal output from
engines, its how easy something is to detect using sensors. If you use
radar on the open sea you're more likely to pick up a cruise liner then
some family fishing in a small boat.

I think the reason for this is because they're all vehicles that don't
_have_ powerplants -- but they need a Signature in order for things like
sensor-enhanced gunnery to work against them.
