I've only just started playing Shadowrun, sadly I don't get many chances
to play but when I do I try and play a Rigger character when I can. I
was wondering wether anyone out there had any tips or advice about
making Rigger characters. eg make equipment to buy. useful skills etc.
Anything would be great.
Thanks

Well, there's the obvious stuff:
1) Get Rigger 2
2) Get Shadowrun 3rd edition (OK, I just threw this in ;-) )
3) Driving skills
4) Vehicle Control Rig
5) Vehicle B/R skills
6) a Shop
7) The Shop (http://ojaste.ml.org/~ojastej/SRII - a vehicle construction
program that I never fail to plug at every opportunity ;-) )

Are you using the R2 or RBB ?

Despite the cost, install BTAC IVIS into your drones. This will greatly
enhance their ability to coordinate their actions when acting together.

BTAC FDDM works well when you want to have a spotter drone and another drone
who actually has the gun doing the firing.

Have fun with the rigger ... as long as you can have fun playing the rigger,
keep at it.

Don't be afraid to design vehicles and the like ... using the R2 ... as the
better you become at designing drones and vehicles, the better you will come
to understanding how to be a rigger and the rules ...

Riggers are cool. And don't have to spend karma for vehicles ... the flipside
is they need all the cred in the world they can get their hands on.
