Heh... That got me curious, so I did a very fast Web search for
non-Shadowrun references to Aztechnology. The one that kept coming up
over and over was
http://edweb.sdsu.edu/courses/edtec685/685.html/Azhome.html --
"Aztechnology Turns," a Web-based simulated soap opera that "captures the
changes, challenges and opportunities confronting educational
technologists and trainers" in a company called Aztech, Inc. (Umm,
whatever.)

The only other hit was
http://www.dailyaztec.com/archive/1997/04/21/file003.html -- a college
newspaper story about San Diego State's team in a business simulation
contest. SDSU's mascot being the Aztecs, they called their fake company
"Aztechnology."

Just thought you'd find that interesting. >8->

As a person of partial latin american decent (S. America in my case)
and part native north american decent...

If I ever start my own sports team I know the name I'll use:

"The Honkies"

A team of all mexican players dressed up in
'white people' colors.

:)

Ummm... San Diego being directly on the Mexican border, and having a
large Hispanic population, does their using "Aztecs" actually offend you?
Or were you just being whimsical?

Now THAT would be amusing. >8-> Have 'em all wear polo shirts and
khakis.

(Does anyone else here remember the "High-Fivin' White Guys" from the show
Almost Live?)

I think it was Mad TV that came up with renaming the NFL team to the
"Washington Rednecks". It's almost worth raising 90 million dollars, or
whatever, to buy them and change the name. I'm also very fond of Beantown's
Urban Brawl team, the Boston Massacre.

It'd be better if it were a team in Texas, or elsewhere in the south.
(Please note that this is meant in jest. My state is easy enough to pick on,
as well).
