If you don't have web access, the above link leads to a site that is
promoting online gaming for cash prizes using FPS games like
Half-life. The first person prize is $50,000.

I can see the potential for some interesting Shadowrun adventures.

A 13 year old professional FPS gamer hires the PCs to find out who X is and
find out how they are cheating in an online gaming tourney.

The same gamer hires the PCs as bodyguards while he attends a gaming
convention. In addition to keeping the rug rat alive the PCs have to put
up with his teenage antics (god forbid one of the PCs is an attractive
female and has to deal with a rich spoiled egotistical employer ;)

The PCs are hired by the gamer's mother to find him and bring him back
home. This could be as simple as tracking him down at a hotel in Seattle,
or travelling to Chiba where an international convention is taking place.
