I've been rather negligent of my mail reading of late so I'm not sure, has
the project for this years shirt been scraped or not?

Yes it has. There wasn't really enough interest this year, no art was
produced, and no one volunteered to produce the T-shirt in the US. I'm not
saying that that's a bad thing, just how things turned out :/

According to dbuehrer@******.carl.org, at 8:07 on 7 Jun 00, the word on
the street was...

To be fair, what actually happened (as I recall it) is the same thing that
nearly always happens when this list is asked to produce something
tangible: there is a lot of talk. and then the discussion gets watered
down ever further until nobody is actually talking about the original
subject anymore.

IOW, I wouldn't say there wasn't enough interest, just that we didn't get
anywhere yet. And I would hate to see no shirt being produced at all this
year...

My best friend is real damn cool with graphic arts.
I'm sure he would design a logo and graphics if I
asked him too. As far as getting the shirts printed
though, I have no contacts there.

If at all possible I would like to help organize things on this side of the
ocean (europe).
