Subject: Road Spirits
Thanks again. Here's something I didn't think of at the time,
but is the major use for Road spirits: crossing "outside" domain lines,
and keeping your spirit. Example: You're cruising west to Seattle on
your Rapier, under the Movement power of your road spirit. You leave
the plains of (ex-)Montana, and head into the mountains. If you'd been
using a Plain spirit, you'd have to stop, conjure a Mountain spirit, and
continue, with no guarantees about your success. With a Road spirit
this wouldn't happen, as long as you didn't leave the road or an area
associated with it (eg. gas station, diner, etc. as long as it's not in
a home or city). How conveeeenient! <BG>
