The thing with this particular mister J. is that he's just about to lose
his corperate status. Mister J. has not been very nice, seen from a p.r.
point of view, so the company would be happy to see him lose all his
credit and priviliges. Chances are the company is gonna toast Mister J.
anyway, because of the corperate image he is ruining.

So it almost seems if they could get away with this one. Also he has no
goodie points at Lone Star, 'cause the guy is wanted for murder when the
runners are finished with him.

OK. So Mr. J. is going to be toasting Mr. J. Have them do it...just
before the runners show up. They manage to get the cred stick, get into
the corporate credit account, and all they get for they're troubles

*Insufficent access*, and a private message from another Mr. J.
rejoicing in his misfortune...or maybe Mr. J's been embezzling money from
the corp and Lone Star's watching for large withdrawals. Lots of
possibilities.

Can't be done, sorry Ceasar. But nice thinking though.

OK, here's the story, in the short version.
Mr. J killed someone, framed the runners for it, and send Lone Star after
them.
Runners are kinda of puzzled when Lone Star has got warrants for the,m
and some hard proof that they commited the murder, real nasty.
Runners find out Mr. J. did it and framed them.
Runners are pissed and are at this very pint about to enter Mr. J's mansion.
They can find the proof of their innosence and Mr. J's guilt inside.
So they're cleared and Mr. J. is not. Actually the company is kinda
pissed, 'cause they could be accused of murderous corperate intent. bad
PR, that is.
Lone Star is now after Mr. J.
The company is now after Mr. j.
But before that the runners want to go after Mr J's bank account.
Looks like there are no reprisals for this one.
Looks like they could pull it of.

Ok time to try sending this again...

my out of character two cents...hope it helps you.

Really have no good figure...make up a big number.

I wish them good luck with no decker.

>4. What are their best options. How much can they get on the street for a

Really depends on how much nuyen they get. Usually to get rid of it or
forge a credstick to put the nuyen on the fixer is going to charge a pretty
big hunk for a pretty big hunk that is being transfered. He will probably
charge alot because it was stolen from someone so big. (if you have the
sprawl sites book I believe there is a section in the back of it over
credsticks also in the back of the guide to real life is a section on
credsticks

>NuYen.

not really but like I said it will probably take a big chunck for them to
"launder" it. If they do end up with a million just hope they do not but
military armor and laser guns.

You will probably want to avoid giving the players a large sum of money unless
it costs them in the way of equipment and healing. In a SRII game I was in my
mage/decker while decking a random ultra-high security (because the wise-ass gm
roll it up random without asking me upper limits of security that I would takeon)
anyway... my character got 16M Nuyen after fencing (I believe) well the character
became a high price runner just because unless it payed well he wasn't willing to
risk it (and the rest of the group joined this opinion because for lack of better
uses he loaned it so that they could get things they had been wanting...

The moral of this story, keep the players poor and wanting
or, Don't let Luc play Deckers

without hacking it they basically have to go through a fixer who will bleed
them of most the value of the credstick.

another irritation for them could be that they don't know any fixers with enough
money to buy the credstick from them.
