It probably depends... I've got a photo somewhere of an M113 that took a
HEAT round (probably from an RPG-2) in the side, and all that happened to
its outside is that it has a large, shallow dent in the armor with a small
hole in the center. Since in the picture, mechanics are repairing one of
the wheels, I assume it's still usable. (Unless they're salvaging the
wheels for use on another M113 of course :)
OTOH I've also a photo of an M113 that's been blown apart completely, with
its torsion bars sticking up into the air...

You could extrapolate modern developments surrounding these kinds of
rockets into SR. Modern attack helicopters can fire them with much greater
accuracy than they could 25 years ago, and if this trend continues (better
fire control, more accurate rockets, etc.) SR's situation could become
more or less reality.
