Hello.

I may be considered old fashion to most of the people out there, for I am using
the SR 1 rules. I need some help on the following:

1) How many times can one mage can cast a spell? ( Drain has been accounted
for ). i.e. Can one Mage cast Hellblast 5 10 times and resisting the Drain all
the time ? ( One lucky Mage )

2) What is excatly is a Hermetic Library?

3) Can a hermetic Library be stored in chips or decks?

4) Can the storage space in a Deck be used as a storage device? (Information
not gained via Matrix)

5) What is the difference between SmartGun (SG) Adapter and a SG Variant?

If anybody can share some light on these areas it would be apperchiated.

Hi,

1) If your concious you can throw any spell you want. That's what drain is for.

2) A Hermetic Library is for complex magical acts. i.e. learning a spell,
sorcery library, conjuring an elemental, etc., etc. Not for throwing
spells.

3) Yes, it can be stored on any medium.

4) Yes, but if you want to use active memory you need to load it in to storage
first. You need it in active memory if you want to view it on the vid
screen.

5) Adaptors are removable, variants are built in to the gun.

Cheers,
Jobby & Taniwha.

What are the modifications for an attack against a character who flung himself
to the floor at the first sight of trouble? Can he shout back from this
position?

Depending on the range and whether or not the character dropped behind something
I would give him either partial or full cover. This would not work if he was
too close to the attacker since they would just see a full body laying on the
ground.

Yes, the character can shout from a prone position :)

He could also shoot is he had a gun.

Phelan I think you meant:
Shoot the Wolf, its rabid, mangy, and a poor excuse for a dog.

Additional rules;
Try and look unimportant, they might be low on ammo.
Tracers work both ways.
When being shelled (Artilery) the latest crater is the safer place to
be.

And last, but most important:

Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. (Murphy {Was an opptemist})

Anything that can go wrong will go wrong, at the worst time (My own
