SR hangs somewhere in the middle, I think. Certainly in SRII and SR3,
unarmored characters could take a lot of damage from almost any attack,
but as soon as you add decent armor, the danger dropped noticeably --
leading to a more cinematic style of game than if you limit armor for
whatever reason.
