I'm new to the list, and par for the course I come in during something...

Personally, I love Shadowrun, but there's only one rule I've ever stuck to
from any gaming system (and I apply it to all). It's from Toon:

Nothing should get in the way of a good story, even the rules.

My two cents worth.

Peace,
deckerm

Ooooh, a quote from Toon. Excellent source.

I agree... I have found that no matter what the gaming system, its always
better to have fun than get all anal about rules. As far as the SR2/SR3
situation? Use what you want to. Period. I use a hybrid of SR2 and SR3
with some house rules. All in all we have
fun. And that's what it's all about right? So if you don't like SR3, that
is fine. If you don't like SR2, that is fine as well. So long as the game
is good and the 'runners are running scared. ;)
