WTF is this?
OK, so I'm an anal fanboy obsessed with collecting ALL SR products.
I've heard this name before, but for the life of me, I can't recall what
Running Short is.

Is the book out?

I'm thumbing through High Tech & Low Life, and there's the cover art, sure
as shit.
Did I miss a book?

Greetings!!!

Since FASA scrapped the project some time ago, I doubt we will ever see it. I
personally was looking forward to it.

IIRC, it's a book of quicky adventures for one or two characters, and a GM
of course.

|Is the book out?

It's been planned for YEARS. I remember seeing it in the coming soon bit of
the FASA flyer that contained the Harlequin's Back teaser "Voices from the
past"

If you did, I think we all must have....

IIRC, there was some discussion on the list, oh, 9 or 10 months ago
concerning 'Running Short' and the RBB2. I think that Running Short wound
up being turned into the RBB2. I think.

Huh? How do you figure that? Running short was a bunch of runs for 1 or 2
players, how'd it become a vehicle book? I believe that "Running Short"
became "Missions".

No. Missions is in no way related to running short. Running short was canned
before it really got started.

I did say 'if' I recall correctly. Apparently, I did not (never having
actually seen the catalog/ad/whatever Running Short was mentioned and
described in). Ah, well, back to the drawing board.

IIRC it was to be a collection of mini-runs to throw in amongst the
bigger modules/campaigns. It was brought up briefly during one of the
FASA seminars and Mike pretty much said the idea fell by the wayside.
I think it was one of the products that took a hit during the time of
swapping developers.

Anyways, no it's never been released. Trust me, I'm an anal GM who
goes for having everything in my library as well. I also have players
that comb the game stores and keep me up to date as I award karma
equal to the dollar value of sourcebooks when donated to my library.
