does anyone have a web page, or something with some sample difficulty
ratings for various hosts? Last game the decker wanted to deck into a govt
site that stores licence plates (the Roads and Traffic Authority, or
whatever it is called in the US) and I had no idea how tough that should be.
How about a private company with the same info (a car insurance company,
say)?

Jane

Check Rigger 3. Anything (ANYTHING) having to do with vehicles is in that
book.

They say that most systems like that are either Orange or Red Hard. I don't
think that private contractors have that information.

rigger 3 gives a short, though pretty good idea of the GridGuide hosts
(typically: Orange-Hard or Red-Average).

Target:Matrix also holds some ideas/samples/guidelines for different
hosts and their security.

During my games I use a host generator program and some pre-generated
NPC deckers to give the player's money worth :))
