I have never had any real problem with the modules being based in Seattle. It
gives all the players access to info about the area (i.e. they can look it up),
and it avoids the problem of having to have a sourcebook for each city.

But, if you want to run something in a different city, jut go ahead and _do_
it. Just take the names of places and such from seattle, and replace them
with names from another city. For example, I recently took a module that was
originally set in Seattle, and had it take place in Chicago. All I did was
get rid of references to the Needle, the Redmond Barrens, etc, and replace
them with references to the Loop, the south side, etc. The Guide to North
America has details on lots of places. Jut do some quick name changes in your
favorite module, and you can hAve it set where you want.
