Will chickens be legal in Seattle in 2054? Read this message from
seattle.general, and you'll understand why I'm asking...

Subject: Chickens in Seattle?

The wife wants to keep a few chickens. We live in Seattle. Is
it legal to have chickens within the city limits?

If so, can anyone offer any reasons why you wouldn't want to
have chickens running around? I'm not particularly fond of the
idea, but since I've never really given much thought to the
idea of chickens one way or the other -- why would I? -- it's
hard to argue against them. All I can think of to say is, I just
don't want chickens, which is not too convincing from a rational
point of view.

Any suggestions offered will be appreciated.

Just make sure you don't feed 'em pure corn. They'll grow fast enough to
break their own legs.
