Thanks to all of you, who have answered my question about the secret
services.
Unfortunately most of them dealt with the FBI and (sorry, guys :) I
already knew the FBI still existed but what about the CIA and teh NSA.

Furthermore in reply to J.d. Falk's sneer at the Kennedy assasination.
I think it hard to believe that noboby would be interested in the murder
of JFK anymore. The files were supposed to be released and there are
always people who are interested in those seemingly insignificant
data-thingy's. Did ya ever talk to a hard-assed history student. Those
guys and gals can run real hot for things we don't even bother to think
about.
There must have been some research in the future.
And if that tuirns out juicy, you've got youselves one media hot history
student.
Remember that even in teh 2050's not all media coverage is gonna look
like "America's most Wanted"
No flame intended.

Oh, yeah, I certainly have -- that's why I joke about it.
Actually, I was more making fun of Elvis...'twas all meant in jest, not
to make light of a historical even which happened more than a decade
before I was born.
The truth is, for the exact reasons you mention ("...real hot for
things we don't even bother to think about."), it'd be a major mistake for
Fasa to even hint at what'll happen with it.
