<rant>
I really have to know what the deal is with all this self-censoring
lately. WHY do I have to read irritating stuff like "a$$", "p!$$ed",
"sh*t" and more like that? Maybe it's just because I'm from a country
where using swear-words is a lot more common ("regelverneukerij" comes
to mind), but it's getting tiring. If it's done so as not to cause offense
to anyone, I don't see the point. Just about everybody here is adult
(though not necessarily mature) and knows what the word is supposed to
say, so why disguise it as something else? Why not just put "[beeep]"
instead, perhaps?
