It isn't quite that simple, but it is deadly, yes. However, with most
normal wound there's a reasonable chance you can be saved, if someone gets
to you in time. There's a reason why it's called Knockout Roll instead of
Death Roll... :)

I doubt Phoenix Command would translate all that well to SR. For starters,
how will you handle magic in it? Metahumans are also a problem, since
they'll exceed the scales for which the game is intended; for exmaple
you'd need to adjust the damage caused to trolls and other tough (high
Body) metahumans, like the system does for animals.

Then, of course, there's the question of whether SR really _needs_ this
much realism...

Wasn't there a thing like: You have 5 minutes to be treated by a someone
with Biotech(tm), then 30 min to get to your units doc and 5 hours for the
MASH....something like that....?

I was just talking about the combat system. I don't want to copy
everything, just the useful stuff.
