senses: sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell, vestibular, and
kinesthetic. Vestibular sense is the sense of balance in the vestibular
apparatus of the inner ears, and kinesthetic sense has to do with
internal sense of body organs (in essence a condition monitor).
There's also the newly discovered vosopheremonal (spelling?) organ
in the tip of the nose that detects pheremones, although this is still
being discussed. Some physiologists might also group smell and taste
together.
