One more thing -- I think a new name for ShadowCreations would be good, and
without the name, I can't start the new mailing list!

So, ideas will be welcome. The "winner" gets something cool. Or just
something. :)

The title should somehow reflect that the project is about resources For
player and GMs. Acryonyms would be cool. I'm going to bed :)

Silly Tinner. You must have missed the "Open Source SR" thread :-)

Remember Bull's _Newbies Guide to Shadowrun_? It was never finished, and it
-was- a cool idea. So with the intent of restarting the project, and since
we have a nice new hostname and the ability to spawn new mailing lists, I
figured it would be a good time to restart a list with the intention of
producing resources for players and GMs, as opposed to stuff that's to be
used "in the game", like rules, gear, places, etc.

Maybe even an.. Evil GM'ing Guide.. :-)

Hmmm... a project about REsources For Players And GMs?

How about ReFRAG?

As in "I fragged the players up last time, and now I'm about to re-frag
them."

(God, I'm thinking of silly acronyms... work must be more boring than usual
today)

And more tiring... the R, of course, stands for Runners.

So that's ReFRAG, or REsources For Runners And GMs.

Shadow Inks
The Shadowfiles (a play on Corporate Shadowfiles, not the X-Files. :)
PFGtPS: Patterson's Field Guide to Playing Shadowrun
NAGtRP: Neo-Anarchist's Guide to Role Playing
Players' Matrix Source (Not a serious suggestion, but has a great
Acronym. :)
GitS: Gaming in the Shadows :)

Okay, so they are not profound examples of creativity but *I* think they
are some fun ideas. :)

OK, now that I know what this is all about ...

I've always been a big fan of those fake book titles FASA uses in their
novels. So we could use one fo those.

There's one in particular that I like - "Monkeytribe: Guide to Living in an
Awakend World"
Or something like that.
Just say it a few times.
Moneytribe ... Monekytribe ... it's fun! ;-)

The Golden Book of Shadowrun
GM and Players Guide to NOT sucking at Shadowrun?

Actually, as long as I get a mention for the EGM part, I'll vote for Lady
J's EGMG! ;-)

Yeah, Mullins Chadwick's 'masterpieces' "MonkeyTribe: Survival Manual for
Erect Bipeds" and "Wake Up Call: Living in the Awakened World" are good
names... MonkeyTribe definitely... kinda sums up the people involved too...

:-) I'm glad you liek it. Strange, you can spend hours thinking up titles,
and the best one will always be the 'spur of the monent' ones. :-)

Anyway, I figure for a subtitle we could use something like: "You must
learn to walk before you can run". Or something along those lines.
