No, it's on a different server. (Fearless Leader doesn't sanction it.)

Send mail to majordomo@****.residence.gatech.edu with the words
"subscribe shadowgm" on the first line of the message. (No quote marks,
of course.) >8-> Simple, eh?

Thanx, now we GM's can peek at each others notes without the players
watching. There IS some kind of "are you a GM" test, isn't there? Isn't
there <Paranoid GM look>

That's for sure... either make things exactly what your players don't want
them to be, or make them exactly what your players hope they'll be. In the
latter case they'll probably react as if they are what the players _don't_
want them to be anyway *grin* (could anybody follow that? :)

Perhaps we should be using ShadowGM for all of the spoiler talk on ShadowRN.
For example, when the thread "Adventure Idea" started to talk about a
published adventure [that I plan on having my runners go through in a few
months], it could have been moved there. Same with the thread "SR: Critter
Question", 'specially when we started talking about another published adventure.

I subscribed to ShadowGM a while back, but haven't heard of anything on it.
I think it's still at listproc.itribe.net, but I'm not certain. Fearless

The 'other' mailing list is ShadowGM, a list similar to ShadowRN, but
geared for GMs only.
Much, much quieter than ShadowRN, it is also rumored to be impossible
to unsubscribe from (Although that's not true). To subscribe, send mail to
MAJORDOMO@******.RESIDENCE.GATECH.EDU
leaving the subject line blank. In the body of the message, type
subscribe shadowgm
end

Oh, and please fill out the subject line when sending posts to the mailing
lists. Most mailers like Eudora Pro and Pegasus can organize messages by
the subject line and when multiple posts are sent to -RN without subject
lines, some mailers reply to the message with "Re: " in the subject and
other mailers will reply with "Re: your mail". Which makes people who
read by subject unable to follow your message thread.

It's cuz the listmembers of ShadowGM forget its there (myself
included :) and post their GM questions to ShadowRN instead. We had
a brief period about a year ago when it picked up a bit. But there's
only so many GM topics you can talk about.

I personally did not know about ShadowGM. Is it on the same

Thanks

ShadowGM is a sssllloowww list. It averages a couple posts every six
months. But when something comes up it's pretty good.

Here's the info on it:

1.) LIST PURPOSE
~~~~~~~~~~~~
with the words "subscribe shadowgm" on the first line of the message body.
To UNSUBSCRIBE to ShadowGM, send mail to majordomo@******.residence.gatech.edu
3.) SENDING MAIL
shadowgm@******.residence.gatech.edu. The list tag (GM) will be prepended
to the Subject: line to identify the message's origin, and your message
will be automatically sent to all subscribers.
Replies to messages on the ShadowGM list go to the entire list by default.
If you wish to privately respond to a message on the list, forward your
response to the author's e-mail address (which can be obtained from the
message header, and usually from the person's signature.)
4.) USING SHADOWGM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All information posted to ShadowGM is considered "public domain," unless
specifically stated otherwise by its author. In general, subscribers to
this list should feel free to incorporate campaign ideas, adventures,
background material or any other ShadowGM information into their own
Shadowrun campaign. Some may wish to adapt the ideas presented on this list
directly into player adventures; others may find the list useful primarily
as a source for rumors, news stories, and other background filler in their
own campaign. The list may also be used to discuss Gamemastering
experiences, review FASA's published modules and provide tips for playing
them, and other related issues.

Please note that this list is NOT to be used for rules questions, proposals
for equipment, archetypes, et al., or other general discussion about the
Shadowrun game and its supplements. Another list, ShadowRN, exists for that
purpose. To subscribe to ShadowRN, send mail to listserv@***.surfnet.nl
with "SUBSCRIBE SHADOWRN <your name>" in the first line of the message.
More information can be found on the World Wide Web at
http://www.ip.net/shadowrun.

5.) LIST MEMBERSHIP
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ShadowGM is intended for Shadowrun Gamemasters, but subscription is open to
anyone who finds the list interesting and/or useful. However, for Shadowrun
players whose GM's also read this list, we ask you to take note of the
following advisory:
ShadowGM contains adventure, campaign, and background information that your
Gamemaster may or may not choose to implement. If this material is used in
your campaign, your GM may wish for you not to have prior access to the
information. You should inform your GM that you are on this list, and follow
his or her advice on whether you should continue reading it. Having prior
knowledge of campaign or adventure information that your character could not
know is very damaging to the role-playing experience. Please maintain trust
with your GM and ask him or her about using this list.
[snip: usual FAQ info on flames and ettiquette]
7.) FOR MORE INFORMATION
For more information about ShadowGM, either subscribe to the list or mail
questions or resolve any difficulties concerning the list.
