Sadly, the background doesn't much allow for it, although I suppose that
FASA did as well as they could with the "marginalia" in some of the
sourcebooks. I agree, though, that the annotation idea is fantastic! As far
as I'm concerned, that sets the Shadowrun sourcebooks head and shoulders
above equivalent material for any other game.

Having read "Dunkelzahn's Secrets," though, I am both pleased and
disappointed by the new annotation format. Much cleaner and easier to
read, but I would have been much happier if they had kept the time/date
stamps.

I personally didn't like the new format as well, but then I didn't like
teh Shadowland 2.0 change I liked the headers at teh top of teh page with
all teh sections listed and the current one highlighted; if teh listing
was in the order of teh sections themselves (which wasn't always teh case)
it actually made it easier to navigate.

Now the current section heading is only one at teh top, and its near teh
spine preventing it to be clearly seen when flipping through the books.

Sorry, but I've been waiting to moan about that one a while. :)
