up the Earth Dawn thread again.
Has anyone out there played the Ivy and Chrome module?
There was a demented mage in there (the antagonist) that
believed there were Aztech gods that needed his blood magic.
He was developing a new magic for them..the blood magic.
He also believed if he failed to kill his loved ones that
the magic would fail. ED has a lot of blood magic in it.
There is a Horror that is called Despairthought that uses people
to kill their loved ones. It sounds as if the mage got Horror Marked
and is being insinuted to kill his family. He also suffers from
nightmares of how he will die if he does not complete the ritual.
If this is right, then the Horrors have been in Seattle for quite a
while and are only now makeing themselves visible. Whats worse,
I think from the reading I've done, that they've always been around,
even during the low/non mana periods. Fasa is just easing them into
the setting slowly. Possibly with the Harlequin Returns module.
Nuts. Seattle just got more interesting to live in.
