Since it's died down let me re-kindle it :) Corporate Security Handbook,
page 36. The matrix annotation by Lady Sally notes that quickened light
spells used for magical security have a downside: "The disadvantage is, an
intruder can ground through the spells". Heh Heh.

Not a great example. The fiction often doesn't distinguish between
quickened spells and locked spells. (Presumably because mages don't think
the 'danes can handle the technical stuff?) Possible example, though

I'll second that. What the Frag? Over.

You mean the same Corporate Security Handbook that states the FAB are
astrally active ???? *grin* I think this sourcebook is pretty weak and
a weak comment in a weak sourcebook is not the kind of argument I take
seriously.

Lets not discuss all this again. In my eyes grounding through
Quickenings is at least as ridiculous as jumping up to the moon - and
nothing I could find in the sourcebook was able to change my
mind. We both think the other one is wrong and none of us is capable
of convincing the other... so lets not revive this.

Bye...
Georg
