It's a complex action to acquire a target for SEG. I'm under the
impression that it's not possible to have multiple targets acquired
simultaeneously. In addition, it's a complex action to fire using SEG.
Hence, +2/additional target cannot apply because you are limited to a
single target in an action anyway.

Not true.. well not completely. Automatic fire can still be swept across
targets when using SEG. In my games on the rare occasion the rigger actually
remembers he can use SEG, I apply standard modifiers for sweeping full auto
fire across multiple targets. Only the target locked onto with SEG gains any
bonus though.

According to James Zealey, on Mon, 10 Feb 2003 the word on the street was...

Certainly under normal circumstances, you can fire at multiple targets in a
single Complex Action by using automatic fire, which is what the +2 per
target is for. Since, as you say, acquiring a target for sensor-enhanced
gunnery is a Complex Action, that does imply that you can only fire at a
single target at a time. However, I don't see a problem with designating an
area as a target ("Computer, shoot at everything between this corner of the
building, and this door"), and then using suppressive fire against that
target.
