that these are the best prices I could get. Initially, I thought that I'd
be able to get them for cheaper, like about $7.50 to $9.00 per shirt, but
last time I was able to do so it was [a] over a year ago and [b] for one
shirt, not an entire order of 60-odd shirts.
Two observations on the shipping fees:
For some reason, it is cheaper to mail a t-shirt to Canada from the United
States than from one state to another.
South Africa is far, far, away. Everything is being shipped as "Air Mail -
Small Packet". Without that "Small Packet" designation, postage to South
Africa from America would have been US$11.60, more than the actual shirt cost.
Currently we have about 68 shirts being printed. As long as we don't drop
to 48 shirts, we can still keep these prices. If we get about 20 more
shirts, the price goes down by $2.00.
Black Jerzee 100% cotton t-shirts, two sided print:
M to XL: $10.50
XXL: $12.00
XXXL: $13.00
5XL: We'll have to special order this one, we think around $20.00. If
whoever wanted the 5XL still wants it, please send me e-mail with size,
number, how you want your name to appear, and your mailing address.
There are no Tall variations (as in XLT) of these shirts.
Don't forget to add money for shipping:
United States of America: $3.00 up to 2 shirts, $4.50 for 3 shirts
South Africa: $6.50
Germany/Wales/Great Britain/Italy/The Netherlands/Other European Nation:
$5.60 for one shirt, $9.00 for two shirts
Canada: $2.55 (lucky)
Australia: $7.05 (not so lucky)
My gaming group: $0.00 (but you're stuck in Bryan/College Station, TX)
All of the shirts sent to addresses in the USA will be mailed Priority Mail
and should arrive 3-4 days after I pick the shirts up from the shop. All
other shirts will be sent out via air mail and you should expect them 6 to
10 days after the shirts are mailed. Shirts to Canada should get there in
about 3-5 days if the Canadian Post doesn't go on strike.
I'm going to ask that each of you who wants a shirt to send me a check or
money order with US funds for the price of the shirts you want and the
postage. Please send the checks to:
Thomas Deeny
810 E. 29th Street
Bryan, Texas 77803
USA
I will deposit all of the checks in my bank on Wednesday after next [1 May]
(this should be enough time to get all of the checks here), wait a week to
see if all of the checks clear, then place the order [9 May]. There is
eleven working days to get the shirts in the queue for printing so they
should be done on or about the 24th of May. I'll be mailing them out on the
25th (a Saturday) or 27th (Monday). If you aren't in North America, you
should get the shirt(s) sometime between June 3rd and 8th. If you're in
North America, I'd expect it around the 31st of May.
If your check bounces, I'll send you e-mail either requesting you send me a
money order a.s.a.p. I'll have to remove you from the t-shirt list. Please
please please don't bounce a check to me. My bank charges me $1.00 for each
bounced check I try to deposit and you hold up the production of the shirts
for everyone else who wants one.
The next message by me has a list of everyone who has confirmed that they
want a shirt. If your name is not on this next list and you want a shirt,
e-mail me and tell me that you want one, what size of shirt you want, how
many shirts you want, how you want your name to appear on the shirt, and
your mailing address. I must have all this information to get you a shirt.
If your name is on this list and you have decided now that you don't want a
shirt, please e-mail me and ask to have your name taken off of the list. If
I don't know that you have changed your mind, you will just be holding up
production for those who want a t-shirt. And I'll keep sending things to
the official ShadowRN Mailing List with your name in it in a message like:
"I haven't received a check or a message from the following people regarding
the ShadowRN t-shirt:
Thomas Deeny <fauxpas@******.net>
Bruce Wayne <bats@*******.com>
Wally West <flash@*******.man.alive.com>"
When you mail the check, make sure you include your mailing address with the
check.
YOUR MAILING ADDRESS IS NOT YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS.
Your mailing address is a street address or a postal box address where you
receive your real, tangable, mail. Without your mailing address, I cannot
send you a shirt.
Any questions about the t-shirt? E-mail me at fauxpas@******.net and
I'll try to answer them. Griping about the price? Hey, I thought it would
be about $9.00, myself. Sorry.
