Hey folks,

Just an FYI that the most recent reprint [#13!] of Shadowrun Third
Edition should be in stores now. There's no major changes, so I've
included all the new errata below:

--
p. 195: Illusion Spells [13]
In the third paragraph, change the third sentence to read:
"If the observer generates equal or more successes in a Resistance
Test, then the observer determines that the illusion is not real."
--

Told you there weren't many major changes. ;-)

Best,
Adam

Speaking of reprints, did I miss the reprint of M&M? It hasn't shown
up at my local gaming store, and they seem to be up to date with the
latest stuff. I think it's the one core book I'm missing, so I'm
waiting for it a lot =)

M&M was reprinted overseas, and is currently on a boat. :-)

It's due to arrive at the USA-based warehouse on April 5th, and should
be out to stores that week.

Thailand. It's all the rage these days - Nobilis was printed there, and
Mongoose printers many [if not all] of their books there.

<comes out of lurk mode>

Just for my own curiosity. I was wondering, after looking at the SR web
page and noticing that a lot of the titles are getting reprinted with
"fixed" information, if there was:
a.) a release schedule for all the titles, and
b.) if the item numbers are going to change in any way.
The reason I ask about the item numbers is that my local game shop likes
to shrink wrap their books so it's hard to check the inside cover to see
what version they are.

Thanks
Patrick

I believe that the schedule is under some flux now as the long-delayed
Shadows of Europe gets finished and the quality of the M&M reprint is
evaluated. When there's more solid release dates for the books on the
schedule, I'll post them up.

> b.) if the item numbers are going to change in any way.

What do you mean by "item numbers?" As I mentioned last month, the
_stock numbers_ on the reprints will be different.

Changes to the books content will be noted in the online errata - with
the exception of minor corrections such as typos and the like.

Cool. Thanks.

OK, my fault. Stock numbers was what I meant, I'm just used to referring
to such numbers as "item" numbers... stupid retail job I work for. :)

Any way of getting a repost of the numbers so I know what to look for in
the future. :)

Thanks again.

Now you know what we have to deal with anytime someone mails something from
the US... :)

Cannon Companion reprint hit distributors on January 12th; I mentioned
it here at the same time I mentioned the stock code change for all
releases after the CC reprint.

Wrong game? *g*

Or do you mean the character portfolio, which is already at the
distrinutors?

And it's more of a Storytellers Companion, though.

Optional rules, optional chargen, optional campaigns, optional races...
Not something intended for straight-out player use.

Ah. It's still TOS at my distributor, under any name.

I disagree. The point based chargen and the meta variants and the shifter
rules are for players. IMHO.

Sure, but not if the GM doesen't allow them.
If any player would come to me using rules I didn't approve, I would send
him back home without further comment.

I may ba lax on rules during the game, but I'm lax on rules, of which all
players have the same level of understanding.

I don't have a current schedule for most of the upcoming stuff; Rob
said it was being reworked, so I won't bother posting any dates until I
see that one.

Well thats odd, since it hasn't hit my retailer yet, and they have an order
in for it. I doubt it takes a month and a half to ship it to Alaska.
