Just a little question : I read somewhere(here or in the newsgroup)
that FASA planned on releasing a new game setting, set in the 4050s, with
mankind battling the Horrors(way too mush population to hide underground,
neh?). That same person said he'd heard that at GenCon. Is this just an
unconfirmed rumor or really a project(my saliva glands are in turbo mode
right now!). IF anyone knows anything, I'd like to know, Thanks!

Sorry, I'm a Btech fan as well. Would be cool to play an
Elemental in the SR world.

If this means they keep the horrors out of SR 2055 and move them to
4050, they have my blessing :)

Mine too, I play both Shadowrun and Earthdawn, and I have had
enough of horrors thank you, the insect spirits are bad enough

Has anybody got any more rumors on this???
Is it a unfounded rumor or is it actually going to happen??
as someone commented a lot of folks seem to be counting 1 'i heard
this' post as proof it will.

Horros in SR in any quantity is certainly a NO as far as i am
concerned. The posibilities as matters stand where a GM could have
the odd one [and i mean ODD ONE] show up if he/she wanted it is ok
but hopefully FASA will leave it at that.

I have players that reguarly so 'NO MORE BUGS', couldn't have
anything to do with two run in's with 'bugs are us'! :) - i think
they are safe [if they only knew what they will get instead :) ]

Horros, ah yes ED and PC's spaltered all over the place, these things
are bad enough where they come from, along with regular, PUT THAT
AWAY, after GM touches the 'horrors book' or 'creaters of Barsaive',
we have this thing about 7' long cats with spikey tails and a taste
for PC chops.

Fasa Lou said yesterday on AOL that there are NO plans for a
Shadowrun/Earthdawn type game set in 4050. He said that FAsa is not planning
any such game and that it was just a rumor.
