You're not kidding about that. After only 2 years, my SR3 and MiTS
have both fallen apart. 8-(

My SR3 is now in a binder and I'm thinking about doing the same to my
quickly degrading MiTS.

Just as a suggestion, if you can go to someplace like kinkos they can
coil bind the book for you with a plastic coil and it'll only cost you
about $5 and it's much easier to transport....I'm actually doing that to
most of my books before they get the chance to break down because it
make it a lot easier to use while actually playing and as a reference

The main feature of this seems to be the plastic cover protector. A quick
comparison between SR3 and SR2 core rules reveals that the main problem is
a much thinner cover. It's significantly more flexible and prone to
bending, warping, folding, creasing and the like while the previous cover
was a more standard thick paperstock. I suspect that such a change was done
by FASA as they started to lose money in an attempt to cut costs.

Get Kinkos to add the clear plastic front cover and black plastic
back cover when you get that coil binding. It'll add even more
durability to your books.
